The intent of this 12-week workshop is to create, develop and perform original songs. No experience necessary! By the end of the 12-weeks, you will have written three different songs and have material ready for the student showcase (it’s not mandatory to perform at the end but we encourage it!)

Songwriting techniques and tools will be taught at the start of each workshop and then we will apply the techniques to a collaborative writing process. The instruction and co-writing will happen for the first hour between 12-1 pm. Ben will then be available from 1 - 1:30 pm for one-to-one mentorship and questions about your own writing.

Participants are encourage to commit to as many sessions as possible, as the workshop is designed to build upon itself.

It is free to attend and includes coffee and snacks. Stick around afterwards for our open mic at 2 pm!
