Jameel provides drop-in Peer Support on behalf of MHRP at the Victoria Event Centre. As a person with lived experience of substance use and mental health, his path to recovery took a long time and was quite miraculous.

This month we chatted with Lorraine Johnson, a Peer Support Worker at Island Community Mental Health (ICMH). Lorraine leads their cooking club, where they prepare a delicious, low budget meal.
