Garden State is a 2004 American romantic comedy-drama film, written and directed by Zach Braff and starring Braff, Natalie Portman, Peter Sarsgaard, and Ian Holm. The film centers on Andrew Largeman (Braff), a 26-year-old actor/waiter who returns to his hometown in New Jersey after his mother dies. Braff based the film on his real life experiences.
Friends of Music Minds at Work will open the night with a performance at 6 pm, followed by a screening of “Garden State’ at 7pm.
Popcorn and other snacks will be served and admission is free! Please note that we will no longer be providing pizza.
*The main entrance to the theatre is on the Fort street side of Eric Martin Pavillion. If you arrive at the main entrance for Victoria Mental Health, follow the walkway around the left side of the building towards Fort Street to find our entrance.
